frequently asked questions
We are a diverse group of spouses dedicated to supporting one another and making the most of our time in and around our nation's capital. Though primarily made up of Marine Officers' spouses, MOSCDC is open to spouses of any and all active-duty, retired, reserve, and deceased U.S. Armed Forces Officer. From full-time moms to busy professionals, we know how stressful life can be as a military spouse which is why our events are focused on having fun and exploring Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia attractions.
MOSCDC works hard to provide affordable, fun experiences for our members while maintaining low operational costs. MOSCDC membership dues help offset the cost of events, allow for basic operational expenses such as printing and accounting software, and fund website maintenance/hosting. As 2020-2021 is bound to be an unpredictable year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MOSCDC is offering you the opportunity to become a member for $15 instead of the standard $30 dues fee we typically charge per year.
As a member, you'll gain access to exclusive opportunities to make unparalleled memories and network with other spouses. The MOSCDC Board will handle all of the logistical coordination to allow you entrance into locations only accessible to members so that you need only show up and enjoy. You'll also receive our monthly newsletter, Corps Connections, and a copy of our annual MOSCDC Member Directory both online or in print should you choose. New to MOSCDC in 2020, we are also facilitating member-managed MOSCDC Sub Clubs so that you can find members with common interests and get together in small groups safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
You can visit our Membership page to join our squad and start your adventure as a member of MOSCDC.
If you have more questions, feel free to email our Membership Chair.
